The One's Class
Our One's class is geared more towards social development than academics. Many times this is the first experience of separation from parents. Our teachers provide our one-year olds with story time, singing, finger plays, crafts, outside or inside play time, and a 1 1/2 to 2 hr. nap. Our one year olds also get to participate in our Creative Movement and music class for 30 minutes a day.
-
The Two's Class
Our two’s class is an introduction to color, shape, and number recognition. We also gear toward social development. Our teachers work on developing large and small motor skills with each of the children. Each day the children enjoy stories, songs, and finger plays and nap for. The children go each day to Creative Movement and Music to enhance their learning.

Kindergarten/Jr. Kindergarten
In recent years, we have identified a need in our community for a more innovative approach to Kindergarten. This need has evolved not only based on birthdays and cut off dates for entering Kindergarten and/or First Grade but also and most importantly, the individual needs of each student. At Children’s Learning Program, our JKK class is a classroom made up of rising Kindergarteners (needing a more academic challenge) and rising First Graders. Each child in this class will have their individual academic goals met as well as their social and emotional growth enriched by participating in this class. The benefits of this opportunity are endless for each child’s growth fostering leadership and confidence through individualized instruction and multi-leveled enrichment. The JKK curriculum is based on Kindergarten Standards for the State of Indiana and for Zionsville Schools. Each child will move at his or her own pace through the curriculum which will create success and confidence building for that child. Each child will have individualized instruction and goals to meet the end of the year benchmark as a rising Kindergartener or a rising First Grader.
